Your beautiful journey for Sankri will begin from Dehradun. In the early morning from the Dehradun railway station or ISBT bus stand, we will start the drive to Sankri. For our trek, Sankri is the base camp. Sankri is a tiny yet pretty town nestled in the region of Govind Pashu National Park in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. This small town is almost 198km from Dehradun. On the way to Sankri from Dehradun, you will come across stunning scenic places such as Kempty waterfalls, Nainbagh, and much more.In the late evening, we will reach Sankri and your night stay will be scheduled in a guest house or hotel. Also, get ready to enjoy delicious local cuisines. After reaching Sankri, freshen up and step out of the guest house to explore the beautiful village. Enjoy the drive that covers the pine forest section along with the river Yamuna on your side on your way to Sankri. You need to know the tiny hamlet of Sankri is the last road head in Govind Ballabh Pant Wildlife Sanctuary. Apart from this, you can also experience breathtaking views of the sun setting over the Himalayas in Sankri.
